Thank you for visiting the web site of Le Mars Community Schools. Our comprehensive high school has a rich tradition of excellence in academics and activities. Our middle school is organized utilizing the teaming concept and focuses on the unique needs of young adolescents. Our elementary schools emphasize the basic skills in a nurturing environment that promotes individual student success. I welcome your interest in learning more about the wonderful opportunities that are available in the Le Mars Community Schools by reviewing the contents of this web page.
It is through the cooperative effort of students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members that the Le Mars Community Schools have achieved the successes enjoyed over the years. The community of Le Mars is an extremely vibrant community and enjoys the reputation of being one of the truly outstanding communities in all of western Iowa. The "Ice Cream Capital of the World" is a wonderful place to raise a family because of the quality of life, commitment to economic development, and excellent school systems. Positive relationships exist throughout the community that enhance the quality of education in the entire Le Mars Community School District.

Parent Single Sign-OnImplementation
PowerSchools Parent Portal is a tool integrated into the PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) specifically developed for parents and students. In previous versions of the application there was a separate login and password for each student requiring a parent to login in multiple times if they had more than one student attending at LeMars Community Schools. This year we are introducing the new Parent Single Sign-On feature of the application.
Parent Single Sign-On offers a number of benefits, including:
access to multiple students with one login
a personalized account for each parent and guardian
the ability for parents/guardians to retrieve their own login information
You should have your students Access ID and Access Password from last school year. These values are
needed to attach a student to your account. If you do not have this information or have questions,
contact the school your student attends to receive those usernames and passwords.
